Text Excerpts
If you are at a standstill in your finances, it may be that your methodology is out dated. I recently heard a college basketball coach who won the NCAA championship in the sixties talking about his success. Immediately following his championship he experienced a few losing seasons. In fact he continued to have losing seasons. He placed all of the blame on the school for their poor recruiting of better players. The truth of the matter is that this coach was stuck on a method of coaching that once brought him a NCAA championship, but that paralyzed his future progress. If your techniques are not bringing you increase, change them because they will inevitably produce a decrease.

Everything is trainable! If you don't believe it, I can train you to believe it. Your brain is not a source of knowledge; it collects knowledge. Humans have been known to train and develop their eyesight, sharpen their listening skills, harness their mouth, and even train their voice. But how often have you heard of training your brain? Isn’t it our brain that should train our various faculties? On the contrary, the human brain operates and grows with information received. Can you recall your school years for the sake of illustration? When your first grade teacher gave you a math problem to work out in your head, didn't you experience difficulty until it was written out on the blackboard? The point is, when you saw it written on the blackboard it was easier to pull your fragmented thoughts together to enable you to solve the problem.
