Dr. Mikel Brown's Biography
Mikel Brown, native Chicagoan of the state of Illinois, author, salesman, businessman and religious leader first earned his lumps in business as an insurance salesperson. Immediately upon his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1981, Mikel entered the insurance field. In three months time, agency directors promoted him to staff manager and after a total of six months, the Vice President of the insurance company was so impressed with his sales and the motivation of his agents that he promoted him to General Agent of the agency. His insurance sales soared, other agencies became interested in his selling techniques and asked him to teach their agents how to increase their selling potential. This is when Mikel realized his potential and that what he had achieved was not the norm for most insurance salespersons.
His book,"Beyond Ordinary: Success is only a thought away" has opened doors for him to do many radio and television interviews due to his uncanny discovery of correlating your life and income to how organized your closet is. Mikel Brown is the owner and CEO of CJC Enterprises and CEO of Power Communications Network, through which he conduct seminars and special events. His much sought after style of communicating and humor has made him a favorite for business conclaves and church conventions. Mikel Brown lives in El Paso, Texas with his wife and three children.
